The Institute of Architects Pakistan (IAP) organized the Fellowship Investiture Ceremony to formally honour and bestow Fellowship upon our esteemed architects. This prestigious event celebrated the 40 architects conferred Fellowship in 2023 and 2024. The Ceremony was held on February 9, 2025, at the Roomy Signature Hotel in Islamabad.
The Ceremony was graced by Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash, Federal Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Works, Government of Pakistan, as the Chief Guest. The President of the IAP, Ar. Fawad Suhail Abbasi, along with senior Fellows, presented the newly inducted Fellows with Fellowship gowns and medals.
The event was hosted by Ar. Abdullah Khan, Chairman of IAP-RIC and the Executive Committee of the IAP Rawalpindi-Islamabad Chapter.
The following architects were honoured and conferred the Fellowship of IAP during the ceremony. The 2023 Fellows included Adnan Ahmed Khan, Anis Ahmed Siddiqui, Anita Kapadia, Asad I. A. Khan, Fahim Khatri, Iftikhar Azam, Khurshid Ali, Mumtaz Jilani, Nadeem Ul Hasan, Najeeb Omar, Noman Ahmed, Sajid Khan, Shaukat Ali Sharar, Shazia Qureshi, Sheema Aamir, Sikander Hayat Khan, Silwat Afzal (Ms. Mehwish Nazir received her gown and medal), Syed Azmat Ali Zaidi, Syed Najmi Hasan, and Tahir Khattak. The 2024 Fellows included Abdul Kabeer Malik Siddiqi, Ali Zafar Qazi, Arif Belgaumi, Azhar Mamoon Sualehi, Ejaz Ahmed Qadri, Faheem Ahsan Jamil, Fauzia Asad Khan, Fawad Suhail Abbasi, Mansoor Ahmed, Muhammad Arif Changezi, Ramiz Baig, Saad Sarfraz Ahmed, and Sajjad Ahmed Raja.
The Ceremony was attended by esteemed members of the architectural community. The IAP Fellowship Investiture Ceremony 2025 was a momentous occasion celebrating the remarkable contributions of architects to the profession and to Pakistan’s built environment. The event successfully recognized the dedication and leadership of the honoured Fellows and reaffirmed IAP’s mission to uphold excellence in architecture.
