According to the Institute of Architects Pakistan – Peshawar Chapter (IAP-PC) press release issued to ARCHI TIMES stated that in collaboration with the Fanoon Consultants, Entity X-USA and Wadaan Consultants launched a national ideas and design competition among the PCATP registered Architects to design an energy-efficient, smart and modular “Tiny House”. These contemporary Tiny House designs will be capable of being used in natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, storms, and many other emergency situations. They should provide temporary shelter for people who are displaced due to a disaster. They should be set up in just a matter of hours after the emergency has occurred.
The IAP is the first and only global recognition for Pakistani Architects and has played a vital role in promoting the profession, founded & partnered with other similar international organizations around the world. IAP Members have also headed or been part of OB of most of them like ARCASIA, CAA, SAARCH, EAROPH & UIA.

Once again IAP Peshawar Chapter was able to organize another national Ideas Design Competition (Tiny Home-Big Impact) to provide temporary shelter for people who are displaced due to a disaster. They should be set up in just a matter of hours after the emergency has occurred.
The eminent jury selected three winners and three honorable mentions were also awarded. It was all possible through joint collaboration of the Executive Committee IAP-PC and Team of Fanoon Consultants, Entity-X USA, and Wadaan Consultants.

This was a single stage competition, the designer’s ideas shall focus on the functionality of a House while keeping in mind the variable site context.
