The new IAP-RIC Executive Committee took office on 20th August 2022 after the AGM and new office bearers were elected for the year 2022-2023 in a one-point agenda meeting right after.
The members are as follows:

The vibrant young committee decided on starting early and planned its 2nd EC meeting on 25th August 2022 at the IAP-RIC secretariat to discuss the calendar of events for the year.
They all agreed that physical events had suffered due to COVID-19 and IAP had to make special efforts to work on bringing back outdoor/indoor events. The first being talks by architects, storytelling interactive sessions from different tiers and named this series “Daastan i Mimaar “The journey of an architect”.
The first initiative was taken by the chapter Chairman Ar. Fawad Suhail Abbasi by starting a book collection drive for the Secretariats library and every EC member was requested to donate and all IAP Members were also asked to do the same. The idea was to make all books accessible to IAP members and invite them to visit the space more often and use the facilities in a location which is extremely central for everyone in and around the twin cities.
Secondly the committee decided to float a Co-working model and open the secretariat space for all IAP Members as a professional office space equipped with a meeting room & executive lounge, multimedia and printing facilities. The space has a full-time office manager to facilitate the members from across the country with an extremely reasonable weekly, monthly or quarterly package as long as they are paid up IAP members. They can use the space on nominal charges.
At the very beginning the committee decided to start work on IAPEX 2023 and the dates were finalized for January 20-22′ 2023. The Convener IAPEX was announced while other positions are being decided. The event will host speakers from ARCASIA countries and eminent architects from across Pakistan. Other events like building and material’s exhibition, architects and students work exhibit, architectural forums and a gala dinner is part of the various events during the three days. As the convention is being organized after more than three years the committee is working towards a great national event and inviting people from all disciplines, diplomatic core and policy makers from across the country.
